Since forming 20 years ago, The Wave Pictures have become a prolific and beloved band on the UK circuit. With their expansive blend of blues, jazz and rock the trio’s songwriting is pensive yet imbued with an emotive familiarity and warmth. Fronted by “one of the best guitarists of his generation” (Folk Radio) Dave Tattersall, he’s joined by Jonny Helm and Franic Rozycki, together “renowned for high energy live performances” (Folk Radio).
Their latest two records ‘Brushes With Happiness’ and ‘Look Inside Your Heart’ were both recorded live during a drunken late night session capturing the band’s playful, idiosyncratic essence.
