Hello!
So we’re slap bang in the middle of summer now, despite the odd thunderous rain shower, it’s been a blinder. Glastonbury was dry as a bone, Bath has lions everywhere you turn and the England football team returned gloriously from South Afr….oh wait, no, no they didn’t.
Amongst all this excitement it would have been easy to miss Laura Marling’s sell out show here at Moles, or the Ivor Novello award winning Cherry Ghost but thank you all for coming down, they were two definite highlights of the summer so far.
It doesn’t stop there though, check the listings and you’ll find all kinds of live music coming up at Moles in August, from indie to hip-hop and from bhangra to dubstep.
No need to call it a night early either, late night DJs are on hand till 4am on Tuesdays (CHEESE), Thursdays (Blow- Baths Indie Night), Fridays (Moles DJs/Raargh) and Saturdays (PLAY/ Metripolis).
Enough shop talk, enjoy the sun, enjoy the music and see you at Moles soon.

Post War Years have been badgering away in the Moles studio for the last month recording their second album and they are now set to play a post recording show on Saturday 12th June. The show will be a late one to accommodate both the bands recording schedule and England’s first world cup game so doors will be at 10pm and the live music will start at 10.30pm and the bar won’t shut until 4am! Entry before 11pm will only be £3 so get down early (well you know what we mean) and come and party with the band who have been describe as:
“One of the most exciting sounds you could ever hear” – Clash Magazine

Post War Years
“Here Come the serious men, crafting angular, smart constructs from the art-pop gospel of serrated math rock.” – The Independent
“Huge modern day dance anthems” The Fly
