This Thursday sees one the most hotly tipped bands in the UK today playing Moles. Folk’s next big thing comes to Moles for an intimate show

Ian King has already featured on the front cover of fRoots and recorded a unique album of English folk with a twist. With the help of legendary dub producer Adrian Sherwood he has forged a new sound that is as unique as it is captivating. And now he is coming to Moles for an intimate show with his full band (which includes the amazing Skip McDonald (Little Axe)amongst others!).



Support comes in the form of one of the cities best loved bands, The Duckworth’s making their Moles debut, cider drinking two piece The Appletree Boys and sultry folkstress Samantha Crockford.

The Heavy on Letterman

One of Moles’ favorite bands, who played a storming Christmas show here on December 18th, have taken yet another step on the road to breaking the US with an outstanding performance on David Letterman’s Late Show. So impressed was Letterman that he insisted they play some more.

New Moles Music Cafe Open

The new Moles Music Cafe is now open from 11.30am until late. The cafe is situated on the raised pavement on George St above the usual Moles Venue entrance.
