Welcome to Moles Studio!

Moles studio is situated on the first and second floors of a five storey 18th Century Georgian house in central Bath and offers an unique combination of a professional, yet relaxed and creative atmosphere provided by expert and friendly staff who are committed to helping you get the most from your session and making your stay here enjoyable. The airy and spacious atmosphere of the building has been retained wherever possible including the large Georgian sash windows to allow maximum natural daylight into every room. All areas are air conditioned and a top of the range system has been installed in the control room.

Since opening clients have included many great acts such as Portishead, The Horrors, PJ Harvey, James, Julian Cope, Pete Doherty, Cherry Ghost, Spiritualized, Marcus Dravs, Steve Osbourne, Paul Oakenfold, Chris Allison, Chris Sheldon…to name a few.

Accomodation

Accommodation is provided in a comfortable Georgian maisonette on the upper floors of The Porter pub opposite all within 5 metres of the studio door !

The maisonette comprises of 4 bedrooms – 2 singles, 1 twin and the 4th bedroom can be twin or double as required. (There is also a double futon in the lounge for guests). The flat is centrally heated with fully equipped kitchen including washer/dryer. You may prefer to eat out as is an extensive selection of restaurants and take-aways to suit all tastes and budgets close at hand. It is also possible to arrange separate flats for producers and engineers, but this service would be at an additional cost to the quoted rate. TV, video and stereo system are available in the studio and flat, Pool and Pinball are on hand in the pub.

Clients have free access to Moles Club beneath, which is open most nights of the week. As you will know, the club has a long established reputation for booking respected acts and offers a friendly atmosphere, state of the art PA and busy dance floor!
