Calling all local bands we are now taking applications for the 2008 Battle of the Bands starting in October there will be 32 places in the competition and already we've had many bands applying. We have held a number of tickets at each venue on our mini tour for people to buy, first come first serve, on the day of the show.
Please contact individual venues to find out what time these tickets will be going on sale.
We hope this might help get local people get to the shows. FF
The Volt win MTV competition

The Volt is a talented four-piece band from the West Country. Drawing on
many influences, their sound is reminiscent of previous decades, whilst
capturing the essence of contemporary music.
Their talent is respected by their growing fanbase and online community, and
has also been recognised at a national level. A public vote through MTV's
‘Get Seen - Get Heard' took them to the qualification stage of this prestigious
competition, and a panel of industry judges put them through to the top 5
semi-finalists and then the final where they were confirmed winners! They will
record three songs for an MTV Spanking New Session in July. So watch out
for The Volt on MTV, and check out their tracks on MySpace, but better still
come to see them live at a gig near you ....... soon!
