Moles, where music comes first

This year Moles is on the hunt for the best local musicians and bands to play on a series of local showcases at the famous music venue. There will be three showcases and the most promising acts will be invited back for a showcase final where one act will be chosen to receive two free days in the Moles Studio. The judges will be awarding the prize to the act they feel shows the most potential at the showcases.

The Moles Studio has had recording sessions by Biffy Clyro, The Cure and Portishead amongst others and is sure to provide a very exciting two days for the eventual winner. As if that wasn?t enough, BBC Bristol Introducing will be playing the finished track that comes out of the studio on air.

So if you?re a local musician or band, it?s time to get involved and apply to be on the showcases.

Details on how to apply:

Acts should live within 15miles of the centre of Bath. All members must be over 18.
It is open to acts of any genre and any number of members.
They should email music@moles.co.uk with only the following information: Name of band, home town, genre, contact number and link to their music (MySpace preferably)
Deadline for applications: 19th Jan
Showcase dates: 26th(jan) 2nd(feb) 9th
Showcase final: 23rd feb
